Garden design Clapton

For this large garden design we retained and adapted some existing features to keep costs down. We also kept the main area of the garden simple.

The dining area beside the house was completely updated with beautiful sawn sandstone. The retaining wall beside the house was converted into a large raised bed with bevelled coping stones to create a stylish dining area by the house. The stone was chosen to blend with the existing stone in the ‘well’ which didn’t need replacing. We created a more uniform look from the dining area by adding a matching raised bed which screened the raised sleeper bed.

The long rectangular raised sleeper bed beside the lawn was retained. We went for an contemporary asymmetric design in the main garden, introducing a curved path along the right hand side.
