The client found her garden sterile and uninteresting. The paving was hard to keep clean and most of the planting was in pots and looked unhealthy.
She was a real plant lover and wanted colourful flowers and sculptural seed heads along with interesting foliage in a variety of shades. She wanted plenty of seasonal interest and a garden that looks good even in winter.
Her dream garden would have a natural feel with handmade bricks and natural stone paving with a small lawn to add more green at ground level.
