This large garden was very uninspiring with a typically messy patio with weeds growing through. The lawn sloped too much for seating which meant the garden was neglected and unused. There was no side gate to make the garden secure.
The couple wanted to have a level lawn and to keep the tree and hedge so the garden remained green and full of birds. They wanted a beautiful patio where they could eat out when family and friends visited.
We introduced some curves into the retaining wall and terraced lawn which were both practical and added interest. New riven sandstone paving was laid to create a large, easily maintained patio.
